Dear Woodlands Community,
The Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected our lives, families and community. We are so blessed to have the brave medical personnel who are out risking their lives for us and playing a vital role serving on the frontline. They fight tirelessly every day to care for each and every one of our sick. They are being faced with unimaginable responsibility yet they still smile and hold it together to get the job done.
We are all so grateful for their perseverance and dedication to their job.
National Nurses Week from May 6th to May 12th ended on the International Nurse Day is just a good timing to express our appreciation and gratitude to the nurses who works with the hospitals around the Woodlands area. We would like to call on all residents of our great community to join together and show appreciation for them through the event of “Salute to Frontline Heroes.”
We are planning to make 3000 Thank-you cards and provide 3000 free meals or food vouchers to the nurses who work with Houston Methodist hospital, CHI St. Lukes hospital, Memorial Hermann hospital, and Conroe Regional hospital. We also need some volunteers to design the Thank-You-Cards.
To make our local community succeed, we are asking for both individual and corporate donations. Donors’ names and or logos will appear on the “Thank You “ cards. Donors will also be listed on our website. Some donors may choose to remain nameless, and we will respect that option also.

护士节暖心活动
猖狂肆虐的Covid-19病毒正在影响着每个家庭的生活，威胁着每个人的健康甚至是生命。在这危难时期，医务人员仍然坚守岗位，奋战在前沿，为我们的健康和生命挡起了最后一道防线。虽然他们在工作中遇到这种意想不到的困难，甚至经常顾不上吃饭喝水，但仍然保持着职业微笑出现在病人面前。看到他们就看到希望！他们的行动和精神深深感动着每一个人！
5月12日是国际护士节。林城中国文化中心，北休斯顿华人协会，林子中文学校联合号召林城各界人士借助护士节为护士们献上暖心! 暖心活动将为林城地区4大急诊医院 Houston Methodist, CHI St. Luke’s, Memorial Hermann, Conroe Regional 的2500多位护士献上暖心卡和餐饮劵，以表达敬意！
同时也希望通过暖心活动的餐饮劵，为倍受疫情影响导致濒临崩溃的餐饮业注入活力。不能让林城我们美丽的家园被如此猖狂疫情肆意蹂躏，我们行动起来，在危难中拯救自己！
暖心活动接受个人，和公司企业捐款。所有捐赠者的名字将列在网站和暖心卡上，除非捐赠者有特殊声明。公司和企业的logo也将会打印在暖心卡上。
